It installed correctly and works as hoped for. I would like it to be a little smaller, but it is not a bad form factor, so this is a very small criticism. I would buy another one at this price.

I bought this for my company to back up our Quickbooks and the rest of our hard-drive. Its small and portable enough to keep in the laptop bag. The installation was very quick and easy. It works perfectly for what I bought it for.

I got this for college so I could backup my assignments. So far it has proven to be just what I needed. The product doesnt get five stars because the initial backup takes like 2 whole days. That's two days you have to leave your computer on overnight. Other than that, its great!

Bought this on a whim, and am I ever glad I did! I ended up needing to move all my iPod touch files, and this has been a godsend. Easy to use, and this is the best looking external hard drive I have ever seen (looks like a little flask).

So far so good. This product is easy to use and worked perfectly the first time. Deriving required power from the USB port means there is no need to carry around a transformer. Good value too at the price Amazon was offering it for..
There was some discussion in other reviews about needing to re-format the drive to Fat32 format. I found no need to do this as the drive seems completely compatible with my HP Pavillion running on Windows XP.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high capacity portable back up drive.
